The last batch of pepperoni I did, I was able to buy pork trim from Otter Co-op, (they still have a butcher shop), I forget how much, but it was reasonable. So if you are out to Stuffers, the extra couple of km is worth it.
No Frills doesn't have anything to do with pork like that - it is handled and packaged at a central facility and shipped out to them. All they do is to open the box, price the product and put it out on their shelves.
That central processing plant will sell to Loblaws, to Superstores, and to Extra Food stores, as well as No Frills.
