Yes. About 8 inches and more coming through end of the week. Temp to get down to 0F to go with the snow. If the snow happens like they are predicting my trip to work will be short. Pick up phone and call to tell them I will not be there. The response is what took you so long to call. How is you condition?

Well, it is a bit cooler today at 7c as I sit outside on my patio for the 5th day of warm sunshine. I passed on wearing shorts today because there’s a bit of a breeze but all in all it’s very nice

30-ish cm expected here tomorrow - that's about a foot of the stuff. High winds accompanying the storm. Then it is supposed to warm up and turn to rain and lots of it, before plunging back into the deep freeze. All within less than 48 hours.

Snow then ice pellets and freezing rain, and then freezing temps again - very icy conditions on the roads. I don't know if I'll make it in to work tomorrow or how long I will stay if I do make it in.

snowin' snortin' and snarlin' outside since about 10:00 this morning. I went into work and stayed for 4 hours. The store was pretty darned quiet by the time I left. Not too many idiots that just had to venture out into this nor'easter to get chips and beer.......

I'm off tomorrow and I expect to spend 3-to-4 hours behind the snow blower, once the winds die down....

Ya know Jim...... well, never mind. I chose to live out here so I have nothing to complain about.... :Owned:
Just keep thinking about the wonderful walks on the beaches with your dogs during the summer
while you trod along behind that snow blower Dan. Me, it looks more and more likely I'll be heading
to sunny southern Arizona for a couple of weeks in February.

Yes, this place (like any other) does have its pluses and minuses.

It's a matter of balance I suppose.

Take care down in AZ, Dave. SPF 70 is your friend. :Oh Yeah!:

Big Lew I hope your time in AZ is better than mine the last time I went south in February. Went to Ft whacha for 2 weeks. When I got down there only one of the mountians had a little snow on it. When I left all of the mountia s had lots of snow and the average daytime temp was 1C. Have a nice safe trip.

Have some friends staying in Mesa and Yuma so I think I will be alright with the weather.
Been there at the same time of year several times, and although it can get cold during
the night, but it usually is quite pleasant to hot during the day.

Yes, I would enjoy that, but unfortunately I'm not supposed to drive very far for the next couple of weeks
so my heading down there hopefully sometime in the first week will be pushing it. I'm going to take it
easy and take a few days to down the coast. Same with walking. I want to stroll the beaches but I'll see
how things go before going on long walks etc. By the time I head home I should be able to do the long ones
for sure.

Lol! You had me so sad to the point I was figuring that I might go earlier than the specialists had advised
provided my new passport would arrive. Well it arrived today, but when I looked up Elco Cowboy Festival
it wasn't a rodeo but rather a shindig with arts and crafts. Still would be interesting to see but I know I
can't participate in the dances etc yet.

I might have included it into my travel plans but it's just too far out of the way and close
to the the winter mountains. If I go earlier than I had previously planned I will poke along
the coast so I can stop frequently when needed. There will be many places down around
Mesa and Yuma where I can buy stuff cheap (as long as I make sure it's genuine leather etc.)
