Happens every year
Mrs Claus pulls through on most of the list but then the sale flyers come out
What are you buying that just has to be bought ?

I'm still shopping for a hard-to-find book, replacement reels for a couple of ice fishing rods, and an Inreach
Also watching for Costco to bring back the Garmin Striker

I sell all of the outdoor stuff. So it is all on sale at cost to me all year long. We try to avoid the sale. We have found if we buy cheap thinking gift for next year we forget about it or what kids want changes so we pass.

i have seen some of hughs rifles . nice but to pretty and expensive to shoot he had one in kamloops he was asking $45,000 for .
Our crew in Abbotsford (where Hugh worked b4 moving to Kamloops) were always amazed at the quality of his work. He brought in a pair of dueling pistols he made. Absolutely beautiful. We were amazed because he was the laziest person we had ever worked with, as well as the strangest! Lol

Not sure how many blades I've gone through but the saw keeps on a ticking. Love my Wyoming as well.

I have a wooden handled meat cutter's saw that I've had for years. Got an extra blade for it (just in case) but still have not needed it.

Gary - I could send it to you just for the price of shipping if you wanted it.

It is awkward to carry in a back pack - but it is the cat's butt for home or camp use.

It's my fault. I screwed up big time. I got the wrong member. :hopelessness:
I meant to offer it to Finaddict and instead offered it to you.
I'm just lucky that you don't want/need it.

Finaddict - the offer is open to you sir.
Dan.

Nope sure wasn't lol, not like it wasn't anchored down either. I can make a 10 or 12 foot frame out of the remainder of the poles.

I put my leg poles in a 5
Gallon bucket about 6 inches. Filled with cement. Extra height and it never ever blows away

I had mine bolted down on a 4x8" foundation pined to the ground with 8 18" pcs of 1/2" rebar. The wind picked it all up and tossed it over 20'

What did you do at BC Tel. I worked for the phone company for 36 years.
If I am not mistaken, this could have well been my Buddy's theme song back then:

Might help explain his obsession with forever climbing heights still!!

Going to have to harness that ability for a sheep / goat hunt before we both get too damned old methinks!

Cheers,
Nog

The first 7 years, I was downtown and the boot doing misc jobs. The last 30 years was installation and repair out of Abbotsford.

I had to slow down...no....I had to stop, over 6 weeks ago. I'm dealing with a herniated disc in the lower back. I'm doing everything the physiotherapist wants me to do, and nothing more. Stationary exercise bike, and two days ago, she told me I can start doing some cardio on the elliptical. I'm getting lots of invites to go snowshoeing up in the mountains, but can't go. Then they post the pics all over Facebook! :Really Mad:

:Yikes!:

Damn Buddy! Take your time & heal up properly!
I will still be needing you for some far off extraction of another big beastie up a mountain I can't possible ever climb!! small wink

Kidding aside, here's pulling for a full and swift recovery Sir!! :Oh Yeah!:

Cheers,
Matt
